The first stop is Dumon Kala, a fascinating fortress composed of three adjacent sections, including a well-preserved western citadel and remnants of eastern and northern enclosures. Next, you’ll visit Kyzyl Kala, originally built between the 1st and 4th centuries CE and later rebuilt in the 12th–13th centuries, which may have served as a garrison or fortified manor house. A short drive brings you to Toprak Kala, the royal residence of the Khorezm kings dating back to the 2nd–3rd centuries CE.
